Quality is managed at every stage of the Motus production process, from approved drawing through to final inspection and dispatch. Specifications, materials, dimensions, finishes and performance are checked, tested and documented to support consistent results.

Production begins with approved drawings, specifications and customer requirements, establishing a clear baseline for manufacture.

Materials, dimensions, welds, finishes and assembly details are checked at planned stages throughout production.
We clean every cylinder inside and out four times at various stages of our manufacturing process. By the time it leaves our factory, your new cylinder is contamination free. We guarantee it.

Products are tested against agreed specifications for pressure, leakage, stroke and operational performance where required.

Ports, mounting points, identification, finish and workmanship are verified before final approval and dispatch.

Our ISO 9001 certified quality system provides a controlled framework for documentation, process control, corrective action and continual improvement.

Manufacturing, inspection and testing records can be retained to support repeat production and customer quality requirements.
Every Motus cylinder is stamped with its own unique number, which is then tracked through the manufacturing process and linked to an exact specification on our database: unique numbering for easy re-ordering.
